FLN Reform & NIPUN Bharat is a comprehensive initiative focused on transforming Maharashtra's education landscape by prioritizing foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

The FLN Reform & NIPUN Bharat project aims to ensure all Maharashtra students achieve foundational literacy and numeracy skills by 2026-27.

Why?

Recognizing the urgency of foundational literacy and numeracy, our program addresses critical gaps in Maharashtra's education system, paving the way for a brighter future for all students. The challenge lies in bridging learning gaps exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring students are equipped with essential skills for academic success and lifelong learning.

Highlight

COVID-19 disruptions have led to extensive learning loss, emphasizing the need for immediate action to bolster foundational skills for Maharashtra's students.

What?

Our solution involves comprehensive teacher training, policy-level interventions, and robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure effective implementation of FLN goals across Maharashtra.

Our Objectives

  1. Enhance teacher training for FLN competencies

  2. Support policy-level changes for effective teaching practices

  3. Strengthen review meetings and TLM utilization

Highlight

Over 31,000 teachers influenced, impacting over 270 officers, and co-creating 60+ teaching-learning materials.

We implemented our solution through strategic partnerships with state education bodies, capacity-building initiatives, and the co-creation of targeted FLN materials. This project's impact extends beyond classrooms, empowering students with essential literacy and numeracy skills crucial for their academic and personal development.
